Jessica Wongso Files PK For Cyanide Coffee Case, Brings CCTV Recording Novum

Jessica Kumala Wongso has officially submitted a review (PK) regarding the 'Cyanide Coffee' murder case against Wayan Mirna Salihin to the Central Jakarta District Court.

Jessica Wongso's attorney, Otto Hasibuan, said that in registration for PK, his party brought a novum, namely the CCTV footage of Olivier's Cafe.

"The novum we used was in the form of a flash drive, containing footage of the incident when Mirna's allegations of dismantling in Olivier," Otto told reporters, Wednesday, October 9.

According to him, CCTV footage depicting Olivier's complete condition of the cafe was never used as evidence during the trial.

In fact, it is stated that the full CCTV footage has been kept by Mirna's father, Edi Darmawan Solihin.

"This means that the entire cctv series has been cut into pieces, the puzzle is no longer intact. If there are for example recordings from 6 to 6 o'clock, something is missing in it," he said.

Otto stated that the CCTV that had been displayed in the trial process was incomplete. In fact, it is suspected to have been engineered.

The reason is that there are differences in the quality of the video displayed by two expert witnesses presented by the public prosecutor, namely Christopher Hariman and M. Nuh. Otto explained, when Christopher's experts screened CCTV footage with a quality of 1920x1080 pixels, while M. Nuh with a quality of 960x576 pixels.

"What's going on with this? So just imagine the quality is actually high definition, but it's shown that it has turned into a definition standard so it runs away," he said.

With that according to Otto, the expert explained what he understood, no longer based on the facts of the original CCTV footage.

"Finally, this expert told the judge, this is this. So the interpretation of the expert is that we no longer see firsthand what happened to the CCTV. We should have seen what happened to the CCTV without being explained, it was enough for us to see what was done, what scene was happening on CCTV," he said.

Otto continued, the decline in the quality of CCTV footage also affected the color of the video played in the trial. Which, according to him, concluded to be the point Jessica Wongso put poison into Mirna's coffee.

"In the second segment at 16.59 and 18.25 p.m.vic (vietnam ice coffee) time was drunk by Mirna, there was a decrease in quality rather than cctv," he said.

"Finally what happened, the toxicologist saw a different color. It seems like it will be different here because something is put in. In fact, this color difference is not because the glass has changed color, but because of the different image quality," continued Otto ending.
