Google Will Present Recording Apps On All Chromebooks

JAKARTA Not long ago, Google revealed that it will release an audio recording application on Chromebook Plus. Although supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI), Google plans to expand this application.

Reporting from 9to5google, all Chromebook models will get this app through the ChromeOS 130 update. The features available won't be the same, but the entire Chromebook model will get the ability to record and transcrib audio.

This Recording application also provides an offline speech-to-text feature. This means that Chromebook users can transcripte even though no internet network is available. In addition, there are also features to export audio and text to other applications.

Unlike Chromebook Plus, this application will present a more complete feature because the device is directly supported by AI. On this device, users can get an AI-based summary based on audio transcription results.

Not only transcription summary, Chromebook Plus users are also made easier with the advice of the title of AI. This suggestion is very useful for those who use the Recording application to create articles, reports, and so on.

This application can also identify speakers in real-time. When activizing the transcription feature, users will see the words 'Talkers 1' or 'Talkers 2' above the sentences they say. This ability will make it easier for users when they want to quote sentences.

All of these features will be available immediately after ChromeOS 130 is released. It is not known exactly what date the operating system (OS) will be launched. According to news circulating, the OS will be released at the end of October.
