Warner Bros. Presents Nostalgia Through Trailer Space Jam: A New Legacy
JAKARTA - Last Saturday, April 3, the production house of Warner Bros. released the first trailer for the film Space Jam: A New Legacy.
This sequel to the 1996 Space Jam features basketball player LeBron James who fights in basketball competitions for missions.
Through a two-minute video, the trailer tells the story of James encouraging his son, Dom (Cedric Joe) to follow in his footsteps in the world of basketball. But it turns out that the child already has his own desires.
One day, James is thrown into a digital world called The Serververse and introduced to AI-G (Don Cheadle) technology. AI-G asks James to take part in a basketball competition if he wants to meet his son.
Not that easy, James gathered with the Looney Tunes gang to compete in basketball. In the trailer, there are several characters from Warner Bros. films such as The Iron Giant, King Kong, and The Flintstones.
In addition, Warner Bros. also announced that actress Zendaya will voice the character Lola Bunny in the sequel to Space Jam.
This family film also stars Khris Davis, Sonequa Martin-Green, Ceyair J. Wright, Jeff Bergman, Eric Bauza, and others. Directed by Malcom D. Lee, the film is scheduled to hit theaters and streaming service HBO Max starting July 16.
