Utut Adianto Appointed Again As Chair Of The PDIP Faction In The DPR

The PDI-P has again appointed Utut Adianto as chairman of the PDIP faction at the House of Representatives (DPR) for the period 2024-2029.

This information was conveyed by the Chairman of the PDIP DPP Said Abdullah in response to the name of the faction chairman after Bambang Wuryanto alias Bambang Pacul was appointed Deputy Chairman of the MPR.

"If it is a faction, the chairman of Mr. Utut Adianto has determined," said PDIP DPP chairman Said Abdullah, Monday, October 7.

PDIP, continued Said, has also appointed Dolfie Othniel Frederic Palit as secretary of the faction and Herviano Widyatama as treasurer of the PDIP faction in the DPR.

The former chairman of the DPR Banggar said that the proposed name of the faction leadership had been submitted to the leadership of the DPR.

"It has been handed over to the leadership," said Said.

Previously, two of the eight factions in the DPR, namely PDIP and PAN, had not yet conveyed their leadership structure. The composition of the factions in the DPR has been conveyed in a plenary meeting which also stipulates the definitive leadership of the DPR 2024-2029.

In the meeting last week, the chairman of the DPR was again led by the PDIP representative, namely Puan Maharani. Meanwhile, the Deputy Chairpersons of each Adies Kadir from Golkar, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad from Gerindra, Saan Mustopa from NasDem, and Cucun Ahmad from PKB.
