2 Chinese Killed In Separatist Attack Explosion Near Pakistan's Karachi Airport
JAKARTA - Two Chinese nationals were killed in an explosion near the international airport of the southern Pakistani city of Karachi on Sunday evening. The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan called the incident a terrorist attack.
Meanwhile, the Bloch Liberation Army (BLA) separatist militant group claimed the explosion was an attack carried out by them using a homemade explosive device carried by vehicles targeting Chinese nationals, including engineers.
The Chinese Embassy said the Port Qasim Electric Company convoy was attacked near the airport.
The Chinese Embassy and the Consulate General in Pakistan strongly condemned this terrorist attack, expressing deep condolences to innocent victims in both countries and sincere sympathy to those injured and their families," the statement said.

"We will not leave missed business needs to ensure their safety and well-being," he added.
