Ridwan Kamil's Discourse 'wanted' All TransJakarta Bus Stops

JAKARTA - Prospective Governor of Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil, said that he would 'cool' all TransJakarta busters by installing an Air Conditioner (AC). The discourse was conveyed after seeing firsthand the people of Jakarta who were overheated while waiting for the bus.

"On the way I saw, the TransJakarta bus stop was also in the heat. It seems like we have to program all TransJakarta bus stops to have a rich air conditioner," said Ridwan Kamil at the Gerindra DPD, Saturday, October 5.

According to him, if the TransJakarta bus stop is hot, it will affect the decline in people's moods. In fact, it is not impossible that it will have an impact on increasing emotions and could lead to quarrels with others.

Therefore, cooling the bus stop is one of the programs he will do if he is elected as Governor of Jakarta 2024-2029.

"It's a pity that the residents have been waiting in the middle of the heat, right, if it's hot, it makes the mood drop and finally the emotions are higher, it's simple for us to have an air conditioner," said Ridwan Kamil.

In order for air conditioning to work effectively, the TransJakarta bus stop certainly needs to be redesigned to be more closed. This is important so that the cold air from the air conditioner is not wasted and maintains energy efficiency. Even though the bus stop is equipped with air conditioning, it is important to ensure that there are ventilation and healthy airflows so they don't feel stuffy. Modern technology such as automatic ventilation or windows that can be opened can be considered.

Choose an air conditioner that is energy efficient and environmentally friendly to keep power consumption from being too high, especially given the large number of bus stops. AC inverter technology that is energy efficient can be an option.

To support this program, Ridwan Kamil can consider using renewable resources such as solar panels at each stop. This will help reduce long-term operating costs and environmental impacts.
