Thom Haye Hunts First Victory When Almere City Jamu Willem II
JAKARTA - Almere City will host Willem II in the eighth week of the 2024/2025 Eredivisie at Yanmar Stadium on Saturday, October 5, 2024, early morning WIB.
The club nicknamed The Black Sheep is chasing its first league win this season. The team, reinforced by the Indonesian national team midfielder, Thom Haye, is struggling in the relegation zone (17th place).
Almere has only won two points from two draws and five defeats. Hedwiges Maduro's men are still struggling to defend and attack earlier this season.
They have only scored two goals and conceded 18 goals in seven matches.
Almere's conceding record is only better than the basic occupants of the standings, RKC Waalwijk (19 times conceded).
Almere City carried a mission to rise and end the negative trend after in the last two matches Thom Haye had to admit the superiority of the two teams strengthened by Indonesian national team players.

So far, Thom Haye has been fielded in the final three matches of Almere City, two as starters and one substitute. However, unfortunately he has not been able to bring the team to victory.
In these three matches, Almere City won one point against Heracles (0-0) and lost to Twente (0-5) and Zwolle (0-1).
The problem is, the revival mission carried by Thom Haye and his friends can encounter stumbling blocks.
