Easy Ways To Know Skin Undertone, Can Be Applyed To Mix And Match Clothing
JAKARTA - Knowing the undertone of the skin or skin skin turns out to be important, because it can help maximize personal appearance through clothing mix and match. By getting to know the undertone, you can choose the color of the clothes to the makeup that suits you.
Undertone skin consists of several types, ranging from warm tones to warm tones, cool or cold, to neutral undertones. The colors for each undertone are different.
"What's the skin color? Indonesia has cooked sawo, there is langsat yellow. But not everyone understands the undertone, even the langsat yellow is not necessarily the same undertone. Some have cold undertones, the undertone is warm, some are neutral, some are actually green. It's a different color that fits," said Fashion Styler, Yoland Handoko, when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (2/10/2024).
To find out the undertone can be done in a very easy and simple way, namely by just looking at the color of the pulse on the arm.
"It's the easiest to see from the pulse. If (undertone) is warm, usually the pulse is greenish, dominantly green. If (tadi) mix between green or blue, it's (undertone) neutral. If for example the pulse is blue, it's cool tone or cooler," he explained.
If you have an undertone warm, the colors that are suitable for use are warm colors, one of which is maroon red. For cold undertones, you can use bright colors, and neutral undertones can use all the colors of clothes.
Untuk undertone warm biasanya warna yang cenderung ke hangat, kuning mustard, merah maroon. Untuk tone dingin bisa pakai warna-warna cerah, dan untuk neutral bebas, pakai warna apa saja cocok, kata Yoland.
However, the color selection of clothes does not always have to be adjusted to the undertone of the skin. If you feel confident, you can use any color of the clothes you want, even if it's outside of what's recommended for your undertone of the skin.
"Actually, if you want to use (any color), go ahead, if you are confident, go ahead. This is just a picture that fits you better," concluded Yoland Handoko.
