YOGYAKARTA - People on the island of Java have complained about the hot air since recently. Heat is not only felt during the day, but also hot at night. So what is the cause of the hot air on the island of Java recently?

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) informed about the cause of the hot temperature on the island of Java. Based on BMKG's monitoring, the highest daily air temperature is not only on the island of Java, but also in West Nusa Tenggara.

Even though it has entered the rainy season, the sun is still hot and pungent. So what causes the hot air temperature on the island of Java which makes many people angry.

BMKG revealed that hot air temperatures occur in many parts of Indonesia, especially in Java to Nusa Tenggara. This hot temperature condition is caused by sunny weather and the lack of cloud growth rates. This is quite dominant during the day.

For additional information, most areas in Indonesia located in the south of the equator are still experiencing the dry season. While others have only begun to enter the season transition period in October-November. This season's period makes sunny weather conditions still dominate during the day.

In addition, the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) said that the Sun will be above the island of Java from 8-14 October 2024. This phenomenon occurred because the Earth's rotation axis was tilted 66.6 degrees to the ecliptics. One of the impacts of this phenomenon is the maximum temperature on the Earth's surface during the day.

So some areas of Indonesia in the south of the equator, including the islands of Java to Nusa Tenggara, relatively receive higher solar sweeping than other regions. However, this is not the only cause of the hot air.
