JAKARTA - The House of Representatives (DPR) for the period 2024-2029 will wait for the nomenclature of the ministry in the cabinet led by Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, before setting the number of commissions.
"We are looking for a balance of nomenclature or the STOK of the elected president. If it has been issued, the DPR will adjust because it is impossible for the DPR to widen itself, while the nomenclature has not yet come out. Furthermore, he said the ideal number of commissions to accommodate the number of partners in the DPR at this time was 13 commissions.
"We are trying to make the budget efficient so that the ideal addition of commissions from 11 to 12 or 13. There should be no more than 2 additional commissions," he said.
