Iranian Attack On Israel Retaliatory Murder Of Hamas-Hezbollah Leader
JAKARTA - Iran says it is targeting Israel in retaliation for the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Hamas leader.
"In response to the martyrdom of Haniyeh, Hassan Nasrallah, and the martyr of Nilfroshan, we are targeting the heart of the occupied region (Israel)," the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps said.
"If the Zionist regime reacts to Iran's operations, they will face devastating attacks," the IRGC said.
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an attack in Beirut Lebanon on Friday 27 September.
Israeli Chief of Staff Defense Forces (IDF) Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi said Hassan Nasrallah's death was a simple message, Israel was able to find and reach those who posed threats.
"This is not the end of the existing equipment. The message is simple, to anyone who threatens Israeli citizens, we will know how to reach them," he said.
