With The Dominance Of Meeting Records, Persib Is Ready To Face Persiraja In The 2021 Menpora Cup

JAKARTA - Persib Bandung will host Persiraja Banda Aceh on the third matchday of Group D for the Menpora Cup 2021, at Maguwoharjo Sleman Stadium, this afternoon.

After winning one win and a draw in the first two matches, the Blue Prince hopes to survive in this tournament, although the focus of preparation remains to League 1 2021.

Coach Robert Alberts stated that his team will try to give their best performance in this match. Because winning is the goal, even if it's not his priority.

"We will try to achieve it (victory) because we want to keep playing football. We want to win so we can go as far as possible in this tournament," said the Dutchman as quoted from Persib's official website, Friday.

"The profession as footballers requires us to win every game. But the main priority is still to make the team free from injury by rotating and giving players the opportunity to have fun again in the match," he explained.

The rotation scheme is Robert's main concern. The reason is, he wants players to experience the experience of playing competitive matches that were lost due to the COVID-19 pandemic again.

Therefore, Robert will also give his new player Farshad Noor the opportunity to experience playing from the first minute.

"Farshad will play as a starter tomorrow. He has trained well and can breathe normally. He can also run. So, tomorrow will be his first test by appearing from the first minute for the team," he explained.
