Facing The First Debate Of The Jakarta Regional Head Election, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono Practice Public Speaking And Create Pantuns

JAKARTA - The candidate for governor of Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil, stated that he had prepared himself to face a debate between candidate pairs (paslon) in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) contestation.

Preparations that are undertaken are not about ideas or ideas but the ability to speak in public.

"The debate challenge wants a lot of ideas to be conveyed but the time is short so we're actually not about the idea but practicing public speaking," Ridwan Kamil told reporters, Monday, September 30.

According to him, practicing how to speak is important to deal with the inaugural debate organized by the Jakarta General Elections Commission (KPU).

It is hoped that it can overcome the tensions that hit up to the use of time when presenting ideas.

Not only that, Ridwan Kamil also said that he and his partner, Suswono, also continue to practice making rhymes. The goal is to lighten the atmosphere

"So we are practicing a lot of rhymes, one of which is so the debate is not too tense," said Ridwan Kamil.

It is known that the KPU will hold the inaugural debate for the cagub-cawagub on Sunday, October 6.
