Ridwan Kamil 'Reply' Denis Total: Can Bully Me But Don't Worry About Family
JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of DKI Jakarta Ridwan Kamil did not accept the statement by social media activist Denis airing, alluding to the death of Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz or Eril.
According to him, everyone can criticize him or the program he brought in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) contestation. But, don't hit his family.
"You can bully me as much as you want, the program is skinning, disagrees, it's okay. But don't take care of your family, that's all. Moreover, my son is with that situation," Ridwan Kamil told reporters, Monday, September 30.
The man who is often called Kang Emil also said that if all the achievements he had achieved could be exchanged for Eril's return, he would not hesitate to do so.
However, all of this is just a dream that will not happen. Therefore, Kang Emil also asked all parties who did not like him not to mention his family.
"So I am committed and it is impossible to do what was said. I beg you, criticism of democracy but not to that chapter. That's too... I'm sorry," said Ridwan Kamil.
Denis, via X's social media account, @denismalhotra, commented on RK's plan to process Jakarta's waste at the Bantargebang TPST into bricks. The waste processing batako will be used to build Giant Sea Wall or sea embankment.
Denis assessed that RK was able to run the program. Because according to him, the former Governor of West Java alone can take advantage of the death of his son, Eril, as a stage to seek sympathy.
"Yes, I believe. Let alone processing garbage into bricks, processing the moment of child mortality as a stage to gain public sympathy, you can," wrote @denismalhotra.
As is known, Eril died after being swept away by the current of the Aare river while swimming with his younger brother and friend who lived in Switzerland on June 8, 2022.
The body of Ridwan Kamil's eldest son was found by an elementary school teacher (SD) at the Engehalde Dam after two weeks of searching. Eril was buried in Bandung Regency on June 13, 2022.
After Eril's departure, RK still remembers him through uploading documentation on social media that photographed their lives when his eldest son was still alive. RK also once uploaded a photo of his presence representing Eril at the graduation ceremony.
