Propam Examines 11 Police Regarding Disbandment Of Discussions, One Of Them Is The Mampang Police Chief

JAKARTA - The Propam Division of the Polda Metro Jaya examined 11 police related to the case of disbanding discussion activities at the Grand Kemang Hotel. One of them is the Mampang Police Chief, Kompol Edy Purwanto.

"Yes.. yes (Mampang Police Chief Kompol Edy Purwanto was also investigated)," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Monday, September 30.

However, Ade did not convey the identities of the other 10 police officers who were questioned by the Propam Polda Metro Jaya.

Those who were questioned were members of the Polsek to Polda levels.

"Until now, the Propam Bid Polda Metro Jaya has examined 11 officers, some from the police, from the posek and also from the regional police," said Ade.

He emphasized that the examination of dozens of police officers related to the disbandment was also a form of internal evaluation. So, it can increase the performance of the Police, especially the Polda Metro Jaya.

"To explore SOPs, what stages have been implemented and so on. This is for evaluation materials," said Ade.

It is known that the protesters who carried out the disbandment had warned the police personnel on duty. The action went viral on social media.

Previously, a group of people forcibly stopped the national discussion at the Grand Kemang Hotel, South Jakarta, September 28. In this incident, two security officers and one police officer dressed as thugs were abused by the group.
