Achieve The Doctoral Degree At Sriwijaya University, Wamenaker Hopes The Dissertation Can Be A Government Referral

Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) Afriansyah Noor officially received a doctorate from Sriwijaya University (Unsri), Palembang.

The doctorate was obtained after undergoing the Unsri Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Doctoral Open Session in Palembang, last Saturday.

Afriansyah wrote a dissertation related to "Model Collaborative Governance in the Evaluation of the Quality Improvement Program for Indonesian Migrant Workers". In the dissertation session, Afriansyah received cum laude predicate.

"Alhamdulillah, today I have succeeded in completing an open doctoral promotion hearing at the Public Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University. My dissertation is entitled Model Collaborative Governance in Evaluation of the Quality Improvement Program for Indonesian Migrant Workers," Afriansyah said in a statement received in Jakarta, Sunday, September 29.

In his presentation, the former Secretary General of the Crescent Star Party (PBB) emphasized the importance of cooperation between stakeholders in improving the quality of migrant workers. So that the resulting discussions are very productive and provide new insights for future research.

According to him, the dissertation can be used by the government to increase and expand worker opportunities so that they can work abroad, especially Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI).

Afriansyah hopes that after obtaining a doctorate, the knowledge that has been obtained during lectures can be implemented in the field of employment.

"Hopefully my knowledge can be implemented in the employment sector in particular. This can also be collaborated with my knowledge for the nation and state. Hopefully this research can make a positive contribution to the policies and welfare of Indonesian migrant workers," explained Afriansyah.

Meanwhile, this trial was attended by the Indonesian Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziah; Deputy Minister of Village Prof. Paiman Raharjo, and Chairman of the Judicial Commission Prof. Amzulian Rifai
