DENPASAR - The weather in Denpasar, Bali is currently hotter. This weather condition has happened in the last week.
This hot weather is because parts of Bali have started to enter the transition season from the rainy season to the dry or hot season.
"Usually if the transitional condition like this increases, in the afternoon it is due to the warming of the sun," said Luh Eka Arisanti as Weather Forecast BMKG Region III Denpasar when contacted, Thursday, April 1.
He explained that the estimated dry season in some parts of Bali occurs during the ten days of April. Then, the impact on increasing the temperature of the weather.
The average temperature in April is estimated to range from 26 to 28 degrees Celsius. From his records, the maximum temperature recorded in Denpasar, which is 33 degrees Celsius, is on April 1, 2021. However, in the rainy season the maximum daily temperature is 30 to 32 degrees Celsius.
For areas in Bali that are expected to enter the dry season in April, namely in the Denpasar area, southern Badung, and southern part of Tabanan. Then Gerokgak, Buleleng Regency or North Bali and its surroundings.
BMKG said that the areas of Bali that are expected to enter the dry season in May are Central Tabanan, North Badung, North Gianyar, Bangli and parts of Karangasem.
Arisanti appealed to the public to be aware of drought and fire disasters.
"Because it has entered the dry season, be aware of matters relating to water shortages and areas prone to fires due to heat," he added.
BMKG said that the dry season occurs when rainfall is less than 50 millimeters for the first 10 days or ten days. Furthermore, successively occurred in the next two decades.
