DKPP Will Hold A Coordination Meeting With KPU-Bawaslu To Prevent Ethical Violations During Pilkada

BOGOR - The Election Organizers Honorary Council (DKPP) will hold a coordination meeting (rakor) with the General Elections Commission (KPU) and the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu). A number of things will be discussed, including efforts to prevent ethical violations during the 2024 Pilkada.

"Preparations for the DKPP next month we will hold coordination meetings with election organizers, KPU, KPU Chairs, and Bawaslu Chairs in districts, cities and provinces, we will collect them," said DKPP Chairman Heddy Lugito to reporters in Bogor, West Java, Friday, September 27.

Heddy said the first coordination meeting would be held in Makassar, South Sulawesi around early October. However, the time has not been detailed.

After that, DKPP will also gather the KPU and Bawaslu in the West region. This coordination meeting will be held in Jakarta.

"So we will gather the Chairman of the KPU and the Chairman of Bawaslu districts, cities and provinces to really pay attention to ethical enforcement. Do not let ethical violations occur at the level, especially at the ad hoc level," he said.

The ad hoc levels in question are starting from the polling group (KPPS), the voting committee (PPS), and the sub-district election committee (PPK). DKPP wants no ethical violations from the officers.

"Keluan selama ini terjadi pelanggaran etik berising dari tingkat penyelenggaraan ad hoc," ungkap Heddy.

"That's why we collect all of them, we agree, we do technical guidance so that even greater violations of ethics do not happen again. We hope that. So, we will hold a coordination meeting later," he concluded.
