Audi And SAIC's First Electric Cars Will Be Informed To Launch November And Selled Next Year

JAKARTA - Audi's first electric car, which was developed together with SAIC Motor Corp, is rumored to be entering the market in 2025.

This refers to a report by Carnewschina, quoted Friday, September 27. Later, the electric car will be launched in November this year.

Referring to the CNevpost report in May, it is said that the first model of electric cars will go on sale in 2025, meaning it is still in line with what was expected at the time, but the certainty of launching it has been answered and will occur this year.

The launch of the first car from this collaboration is also rumored to be improving Audi's sales performance in the electric car segment, especially in the local Chinese market.

Later the first electric car from Audi and SAIC will be built on the Advanced Digitized Platform (ADP), which is claimed to shorten the launch time of new electric cars by more than 30 percent.

There is no detailed information on what model will be presented, but based on a report from Deutsche Well China, it is reported that its first car will fill the medium segment. The source said the new BEV would not use the four traditional Audi rings logo. In this way, the BEV developed in China will be easily distinguished from the German car.

Audi and SAIC spent 18 months in their first EV development process. Later, Audi hopes to accelerate partnerships to bring more products to the market.
