Feby Putri Involves Seven Producers For Black And White Album

JAKARTA - Feby Putri officially released her second album with the title "Hitam Putih" on today's digital music platform, Thursday 26 September.

The eleven songs that Feby brought on his album involved seven producers, namely Lafa Pratomo, Enrico Octaviano (Whirry Competition), Iga Massardi (Bara Suara), Adam Febrian, Vega Antares, Eky Rizkani, and Eunike Tanzil.

Lafa Pratomo produced the 'World' and 'Duration', then Enrico Octaviano to 'Hopefully There's Time to Luang' and 'New Feelings Grow'.

Iga Massardi produced Hands Say Farewell, then Adam Febrian produced Tyangan Oleh Kepala and Syum Semu.

Furthermore, Vega Antares became a producer for Mother's Voice' and 'Defense System', then Eky Rizkani for Sequent', as well as Eunike Tanzil for Service Emergency.

Feby admitted that he deliberately involved many producers on his new album. That way, he felt he could explore with different musical characters.

"I took seven producers with different characteristics in my opinion," said Feby Putri, who held a hearing session in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta recently.

"Because that's what I'm looking for, different music," he added.

The process of selecting producers for each song, said Feby, is very natural. Like working based on instincts. Fortunately, all the songs submitted to the seven producers were felt as desired.

"At the beginning, I was like giving it. (For example) in the song 'Turut' I wanted to give it to Eky, I wanted to give 'Hopefully There's Time to Luang' to Ico (Enrico). That's just like a post, it turns out that everything fits, that's what I want," he said.

"It can be like I want a song 'Turut' to Iga (Massardi) or to Ico, but I chose Eky, and it turned out to be right. Maybe because I saw the characteristics of the producer too many times, before giving me the song".

When giving a song to the producer, Feby chose to give full trust. He believes every appointed musician knows what to do.

"And it's all right, from track one to track eleven, well, thank God, I didn't choose the wrong producer with the song," he said.
