Many Users Lose Money, Here's A Fund Response
JAKARTA FUNDS are one of the most widely used platforms in Indonesia, either to store funds or transact. However, there are many negative sentiments towards this digital financial platform.
On platform X, formerly known as Twitter, complaints often arise about money being lost for no reason on the platform. This problem often occurs so that there is a view that DANA is a dangerous platform to store funds.
When this problem continues, users who lose money in DANA start getting different responses. Not a few say that DANA is not safe to save money and the victim of the loss should already know about this problem.
Regarding this negative sentiment, DANA gave its response to VOI. Chief Risk Officer of DANA Indonesia, Cary Pianto stated that his party already knew about this view on social media.
According to Cary, this happens because DANA is a digital financial platform that has many users. The number of transactions in DANA is also very large every day so that the problem of losing funds often occurs and the company tries to overcome it.
"We from the fund are not surprised because we have the most customers. If there are a lot of users, there are a lot of protests (also). But our protection is the most. That's why we don't stop evolving," explained Cary.

DANA has not yet responded to how many users have lost money on the platform. However, Cary stressed that his company is trying to deal with various cybersecurity issues on the platform.
Meanwhile, regarding negative sentiment that often arises, Cary said that there are two possibilities that arise. This bad view can come from victims who do experience direct loss of funds or only users are paid to make bad comments.
"We continue to monitor the negative sentiments because it could be a real person, it could be haters who are paid for it. So we always monitor it, if it is after the investigation and it is proven that the victim is indeed a victim, we will provide a competency," said Cary.
At the end of his statement, Cary reminded users not to be easily tempted by money. Users are also not advised to click on various links easily because losing funds can occur due to malicious links.
