DPR Leaders Decide The Last Plenary Meeting To Be Held In September

JAKARTA - The leadership of the DPR has decided that the final plenary meeting of the DPR RI for the 2019-2024 period will be held on Monday, September next week. This decision was taken after the leadership held a meeting of the deliberative body (Bamus) today.

"So we are finalizing things that must be resolved before the final plenary," said DPR Speaker Puan Maharani at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, September 26.

Puan said that her party would complete the materials that had been completed by all commissions and AKD. This is part of the preparations ahead of the last plenary meeting on September 30.

The agenda in the last meeting is reports from the special committees that run in the DPR. Then there is also a draft law (RUU) that is requested to be resolved by the leadership of the DPR or the upcoming commission.

"Then there is also a plan to cancel one law which must later be approved or not approved, in the upcoming plenary session," said Puan.
