Hold Early Detection, Gresik Police Chief Guarantees Good Friday And Easter Worship Security

GRESIK - The Head of the Gresik Police, East Java, AKBP Arief Fitrianto guarantees the security of the church in his area when Christians carry out their Good Friday and Easter.

"We continue to improve security, for the convenience of the community to worship. God willing, we guarantee it is safe", Arief confirmed, Wednesday, March 31.

Arief emphasized that his party has alerted personnel at each church in Gresik to increase security. In fact, security guards routinely check to prevent unwanted things.

"We also carry out preventive measures, such as coordinating with church administrators, and every worship activity is coordinated to provide security so that congregations who wish to worship feel safe and comfortable", he said.

The 2001 Police Academy alumnus also mobilized his ranks to carry out early detection and sped up operational activities in the field. The Gresik Police do not want to be missed.

"On the other hand, we are increasing our vigilance and preparing security at points that are prone to disruption of our social and security services", he said.

Also, Arief stated that all police officers have been deployed to provide security in their respective areas, ahead of the sacred day of Christians.

In this security, officers directly monitor the proceedings of the worship process, starting from the entry and exit of the congregation, checking identity and luggage, and ensuring the implementation of the COVID-19 health protocol.

"This is done regularly to maintain calm and provide a sense of security and comfort for the congregation who are carrying out the worship", said the former Ponorogo Police Chief.
