KPK Summons Two Private Parties Regarding The Interdisciplinary Case Of Nurhadi's Investigation

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned two people related to the alleged attempt to deliberately prevent and obstruct the investigation in the case of former Supreme Court (MA) Secretary Nurhadi. The two of them will be summoned and examined for the suspect Ferdi Yuman, who is the personal driver of the former official.

"Examined as a witness for suspect FY," said Acting KPK spokesman for Enforcement Ali Fikri in a written statement to reporters, Thursday, April 1.

The two witnesses who came from the private sector were Bona Sakti Nasution and Dita Yusuf Pambudi. It is not yet known what information the KPK investigators will extract from the two witnesses.

However, both are suspected of knowing the case that occurred when Nurhadi and his son-in-law, Riezky Herbiyono, were wanted by the anti-graft commission.

Previously reported, Ferdy Yuman allegedly played a role as the renter of Nurhadi's safe house and his family at Jalan Simprug Golf 17 Suites 1 Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, while being a fugitive from the KPK.

In June 2020, the KPK investigating team that had carried out previous monitoring came to the house to arrest Nurhadi and Rezky. Ferdy, who had been waiting in front of the house, immediately fled at high speed using a Fortuner car that was suspected of wearing a fake number plate.

Meanwhile, the KPK investigating team at the residence managed to arrest and secure Nurhadi and Rezky in the house.

For his actions, Ferdy is suspected of violating Article 21 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes.
