Many Disagree, Dispora Bengkulu Delays The Application Of Tariffs For The Use Of Sport Center Areas
BENGKULU - The Department of Youth and Sports (Dispora) Bengkulu Province has postponed the application of tariff withdrawals to people who use the running track at the Sport Center and the Lebar Sawah Stadium in Bengkulu City.
Bengkulu Provincial Secretary Mike Van Hove said the withdrawal of the tariff, which is planned to be applied on October 1, 2024, is in accordance with Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 07 of 2023 concerning regional levies and regional taxes.
During the socialization process to the public regarding the implementation of tariff determinations, many disagree.
"As long as the socialization gets an unfavorable response from the community and it seems that for now it is not appropriate for us to implement it," he said in Bengkulu City, Antara, Wednesday, September 25.
Mike explained that the delay in withdrawing the retribution rates was not known for sure until when, but it was confirmed that it would not be in the near future. On the other hand, the manager of the Bengkulu Sawah Lebar Stadium, Zainal Suhud, said that the implementation of the retribution was in accordance with the Regional Regulation and Governor Regulation (Pergub).
For this reason, some time ago his party had put up socialization banners related to the determination of tariffs of Rp. 3,000 for children, Rp. 5,000 for adults and Rp. 200 thousand for sports groups in one exercise.
Meanwhile, one of the residents of Bengkulu City, Fikri regretted the tariff set for people who wanted to exercise in the area.
For this reason, with the delay in withdrawing the tariff, he hopes that the government can increase coaching to existing athletes.
