MPR Recommends PPHN Discussion Followed Up In The Next Period
JAKARTA - MPR Deputy Chair Ahmad Muzani said the MPR recommended several things in the final session of the MPR term which was held today.
One of them is recommending that the discussion of PPHN be followed up by the MPR for the period 2024-2029.
"From the view earlier, it was stated that the first one was the MPR for the next period being asked to continue the PPHN program. The main points of the State Policy and the draft about it already exist," said Muzani, Wednesday, September 25.
"The question is, will the design now being made in the 2019-2024 period be a carry-over? That means we just have to make improvements and determinations or what we will start from scratch again," he continued.
Second, the establishment of a kind of Honorary Council. However, said Muzani, do not let the formation of this council overlap.
"Because the same agency already exists in the DPR, where every member of the DPR must be a member of the MPR, there is also a DPD where every DPD member must be a member of the MPR," said the Secretary General of the Gerindra Party.
Third, continued Muzani, related to the procedures for the inauguration of the president.
