Pretrial ASDP President Director Ira Puspadewi Not Accepted By South Jakarta District Court

JAKARTA - The pretrial application submitted by the President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Ira Puspadewi, was decided not to be accepted by the South Jakarta District Court (PN). Palu, the sole judge, was knocked on Monday, September 23 yesterday.

"Unacceptable (Niet Ontvankelijke Verklaard)," said South Jakarta District Court Public Relations Officer Djuyamto when confirmed via written message, Tuesday, September 24.

Ira filed a pretrial because she considered her determination as a suspect to be invalid. The case is registered with the number: 80/Pid.Pra/2024/PN JKT.SEL.

He asked the pretrial judge to declare that the Decree of the KPK Leadership Number 1072 of 2024 dated August 19, 2024 concerning the determination of suspects is invalid and has no legal basis.

Apart from Ira, the two directors of this state-owned company, namely the Director of Planning and Development of PT ASDP for the period June 2020-present, Harry Muhammad Adhi Caksono and the Director of Commercial and Services of PT ASDP Muhammad Yusuf Hadi also filed a pretrial. However, the judge has not read out the verdict.

Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating cases of corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). It is suspected that there has been a state loss which allegedly reached Rp1.27 trillion and is still changing because the calculation continues.

A VOI source said this loss arose because the acquisition process for PT Jembatan Nusantara did not comply with the regulations. Reporting from a number of reports, PT ASDP purchased PT Jembatan Nusantara in February 2022 with a value of IDR 1.3 trillion.

This state-owned company then controlled 100 percent of PT Jembatan Nusantara shares with 53 ships under management. "The process (in carrying out business cooperation and acquisition, ed) has no legal basis," he said.

"So all acquisition rules are violated," is still quoted from the same source.

In this case, the anti-corruption commission has named four people as suspects. From the information gathered, they are Ira Puspadewi who is the president director; Harry MAC as the planning and development director; Yusuf Hadi who is the commercial and service director; and Adjie who is the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara.
