Regarding The Announcement Of The Results Of The Kaesang Report On A Private Jet, Nawawi Pomolango: Generalized Prevention

JAKARTA - The interim chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nawawi Pomolango said that the results of the analysis of reports on the use of private jets submitted by the Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) as well as the son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Kaesang Pangarep, were submitted by the Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring. Nawawi's statement contradicts what was conveyed by the Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring of the KPK Pahala Nainggolan. He said the leadership would announce the results of the analysis of the private jet.

"I have sent an official memorandum regarding the results of the analysis and proposal of the decision to the leadership," Pahala told VOI via text message, Monday, September 23.

"Furthermore, the leadership will decide and announce it," he continued.

As previously reported, the General Chairperson of PSI who is also the son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Kaesang Pangarep, had conveyed to the KPK about the use of the private jet facilities he used when pledir to the United States with his wife, Erina Gudono on Tuesday, September 17. He claims that he took a plane belonging to his friend.

"I conveyed information about my trip to the US who was riding or accompanying a friend of mine," Kaesang told reporters at the ACLC KPK building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta.

Complementing Kaesang,men Widjojo as his spokesman said there was a document filled by President Jokowi's son. Meanwhile, Kaesang visited the old KPK office at around 10.30 WIB. He then finished his business at 11.30 WIB.
