4,294 Joint Personnel Deployed To Guard National Farmers' Day Demonstration Today

JAKARTA - A number of elements from the Workers' Party and the Indonesian Farmers' Union (SPI) will hold a demonstration related to the commemoration of National Farmers' Day (HTN) today, Tuesday, September 24. Regarding security, Polda Metro Jaya deployed 4,294 joint personnel.

"The involvement of security personnel is 4,294 personnel," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Tuesday, September 24.

It was detailed that the thousands of joint personnel consisted of 2,830 members of the Task Force, 330 personnel from the Task Force, and 1,134 personnel from BKO TNI, Police Headquarters, and Regional Government (Pemda).

They will be placed in the vicinity of the MPR-DPR RI, the National Monument (Monas) and the Ministry of ATR/BPN.

As for traffic flow engineering, Ade conveyed that its implementation was situational to see the escalation at the location.

"If the number of masses and escalation increases, road closures will be held. On the other hand, traffic is normal as usual," said Ade.

Not to forget, Ade also appealed to the protesters to remain guided by regulations and regulations in expressing opinions. Thus, all aspirations will be conveyed without any legal violations.

"Please convey your aspirations in a cool and peaceful manner, there are no hate speech and provocative words that can disrupt the stability of the kamtibmas," said Ade.
