Bamsoet Responds To Terrorists At Perbakin Member Headquarters: I Have Checked, Not Registered!

JAKARTA - PB Perbakin Advisory Board Bambang Soesatyo stated that the terrorists who attacked the National Police Headquarters, Wednesday evening, March 21 were not members of the Indonesian Shooting and Hunting Association (Perbakin).

Bamsoet said that his party had checked the identity found by the National Police.

"After I checked in the Perbakin database, the person concerned was not registered," said Bamsoet to reporters, Wednesday, March 31.

Judging from the membership cards in circulation, according to Bamsoet, terrorists are members of the airsoft gun shooter community. "KTA is an airsoft gun shooting club membership," he said.

"And the base of the shooting club is no longer recorded in the DKI Perbakin Province Pengprov" he added.

Furthermore, Bamsoet also explained that to become a member of Perbakin, you must take a series of rigorous tests and expertise. Each member who has been registered as a member, on the card there are three types of code.

First TS is target shooting. The second TR is a reaction shooter, and the third one with code B is hunting.

"To become a member of Perbakin, you must take part in upgrading and skill tests," he explained.
