The Distribution Of The Airdrop Hamster Kombat Disappointed The Players, The Allocation Of Tokens Not In Accordance With Expectations
JAKARTA - The popular Telegram crypto game, Hamster Kombat, is preparing to launch its token, HMSTR. However, although millions of players have been waiting for the airdrop, some of them are disappointed after the detailed announcement of the token allocation that did not match expectations.
Through an upload on Twitter, the Hamster Kombat team revealed that players cannot directly claim all of their HMSTR token allocations on launch day. Of the total promised airdrops, only 88.75% are accessible on the first day, while the remaining 11.25% will be locked for 10 months until July 2025.
This announcement makes many players feel dissatisfied, especially because the details of the investment have never been communicated before. Players feel that this lockdown is unfair, especially with the uncertainty of the HMSTR token value that will only be known after starting trading on The Open Network (TON) on September 26, 2024.
Another issue that triggers disappointment is the token allocation system. Players complain about the criteria used to determine how many tokens they will receive. One of the main factors that are highlighted is the magnitude of emphasis on friends reference and earning key, recently introduced in the game.

This case reminds many parties of a similar problem that occurred last week with Catizen airdrops, where players also feel dissatisfied with the sudden changes to the previously unexplained allocation criteria.
Reporting from Decrypt, according to the latest data from the Hamster Kombat team, of the 300 million players who have played this game since its launch in March 2024, only about 129 million have met the requirements to receive the airdrop. Of the 131 million players who were initially registered, about 2.3 million of them were blocked because they were considered fraudulent.
The amount of HMSTR tokens to be distributed in this airdrop reaches 60 billion out of a total of 100 billion tokens. In addition, another 15 billion tokens will be allocated for Season 2 to come. For the time being, the game will enter the interlude season, a simpler version of the full season.
Despite many players complaining about the airdrop system, Hamster Kombat remains one of the most anticipated crypto games on Telegram. With more than 300 million players, the future of the game looks bright, especially with the potential for growth in Season 2.
