Kapolda Asks Propam To Check The Precision Team For The Finding Of Seven Bodies
JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Karyoto asked the National Police Headquarters Propam to participate in an investigation into the findings of seven teenage boys in the Bekasi River by examining the Bekasi City Metro Police Precision Team.
"For future steps, we involve Propam Police Headquarters and Kompolnas," said Inspector General of Police. Karyoto in Bekasi, West Java, Sunday.
The Metro Jaya Police Chief ensured that the police institution would not cover up if the results of the upcoming investigation contained the negligence of police officers while carrying out their duties.
"We also don't want the term to be closed. We will open up what happened," said the Kapolda.

Previously reported, it was found the bodies of seven teenage boys on the banks of Kali Bekasi, Pondok Gede Permai Housing, Jatiasih District, Bekasi City, West Java, Sunday (22/9).
The Kapolda confirmed that the seven teenagers were involved in a brawl not far from the crime scene (TKP) on Saturday (21/9/2024) in the early hours of the morning. At that time, the precision team tried to arrest the perpetrators of the brawl.
When the officers gave chase, the seven teenagers decided to run away by throwing themselves into the Bekasi River.
"They threw themselves into the river because of fear of patrols passing by or reprimanding him. We are investigating to what extent," he said.
