Polda Involves 415 Personnel To Secure The Draw Number Urut Paslon
PALU - Central Sulawesi Regional Police (Polda) involved 415 personnel to secure the draw for the serial number of the candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of Central Sulawesi on September 23, 2024.
"Every stage of the 2024 Pilkada, the police have mapped the potential for vulnerability of disturbances in Kamtibmas," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Police, Kombes Pol. Djoko Wienartono in Palu, Sunday.
He said the potential for vulnerability could also occur when the draw was carried out, serial number of the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor at the Central Sulawesi General Election Commission (KPU) Office.

Therefore, he said, the Central Sulawesi Regional Police through the Tinombala 2024 Great Operations Task Force (OMP) had prepared a security strategy.
He said to minimize the emergence of disturbances in security and public order (Kamtibmas) during the serial number draw on September 23, 2024, the police will close Jalan S Parman in front of the Central Sulawesi KPU starting at 07.00 WITA until the event is over.
In addition, the Central Sulawesi Regional Police also held a security rally and continued the security rehearsal which took place in front of the Central Sulawesi KPU Office.
He said the security rehearsal was carried out so that personnel assigned to find out the location of the assignment, how to act and control control.
"The Central Sulawesi Regional Police as the stakeholder and responsible for securing the 2024 Pilkada stage are trying to minimize the potential for disturbances in Kamtibmas," he said.
He continued, the Central Sulawesi Regional Police also appealed to supporters of the candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor to witness the serial number draw at the winning or at home post, because the KPU broadcast live through social media.
"Given the limitation on the companion of the candidate pair when participating in the serial number draw at the Central Sulawesi KPU, it is better if the supporting period does not arrive at the KPU," he said.
