7 Unidentified Man's Body Found Floating In Bekasi River

Residents around Jatiasih, Bekasi City, were shocked by the discovery of 7 male bodies floating simultaneously in the Bekasi River, Jatiasih, Bekasi City, West Java, Sunday, September 22, morning.

A number of bodies whose identities and causes of death were not yet known were then evacuated by the Bekasi City Metro Police and the joint SAR Team.

Residents also gathered to see the discovery of the number of bodies.

The discovery of the 7 bodies was first discovered by residents at around 08.45 WIB.

One by one the bodies were then put into body bags when the evacuation was carried out.

Then after being evacuated to the riverbanks, the 7 body bags were lined up on the riverbanks. Meanwhile, officers were seen gathering to coordinate.

Meanwhile, the Bekasi City Metro Police conducted a crime scene at the scene. The 7 bodies were then taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta for an autopsy.

Meanwhile, regional police and BPBD are still combing the location using a number of rubber boats.
