JCI Closed Monday At 2.88 Percent Lower To 4,414.50 Levels

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed lower in trading today. Monday, the JCI closed down 131.07 points or 2.88 percent to 4,414.50.

Closing the trade, there are 85 stocks rising, 332 stocks weakening, and 105 stocks stagnant. Trade transactions reached IDR 5.57 trillion from 5.07 billion shares traded.

Binaartha Sekuritas analyst, M. Nafan Aji Gustama said, the lack of sentiment from various macroeconomic data, both domestic and global, which had a positive high market impact on the market affected the limitations of index movement.

"Meanwhile, the failure of the OPEC agreement at the previous meeting to maintain world oil price stability led to a decline in world oil prices, coupled with the international COVID-19 pandemic which still causes concern for market players," explained Nafan to VOI.

This afternoon, the shares that entered the top gainers, namely shares of PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST) rose IDR 44 or 34.38 percent to IDR 172, shares of PT Makmur Berkah Amanda Tbk (AMAN) rose IDR 66 or 34.38 percent to IDR258, and shares PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk (CARE) increased IDR 50 or 20.49 percent to IDR 294.

As for the stocks that entered the top losers, among others, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakasa Tbk (INTP) fell IDR 925 or 93 percent to IDR 12,425, shares of PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) fell IDR 340 or 6.88 percent to IDR 4,600, and shares of PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) fell IDR 280 or 6.86 percent to IDR 3,800.
