Get Ready For The Good News! Incentive PPnBM 2,500cc Cars Valid Tomorrow, Innova And Fortuner Discount Tens Of Million
JAKARTA - The government's plan to expand the Sales Tax on Luxury Goods (PPnBM) incentives for four-wheeled vehicles with a 1,500-2,500cc engine will be rolled out in a few hours.
This is because the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, in a virtual press conference of our APBN on Tuesday, March 23, emphasized that this policy would be implemented next month.
"Later we will announce it once the PMK has finished and it can take effect from April," he said some time ago.
For your information, the expansion of the relaxation of the large vehicle tax was implemented following the success of the same scheme for passenger cars with a cylinder capacity of up to 1,500cc.
According to VOI's records, the segmentation's car sales jumped to around 140 percent within two weeks of being implemented on March 1.
Furthermore, implementing PPnBM incentives on large vehicles requires several things. First, targeting the 4x2 and 4x4 segment cars with a capacity of up to 2,500cc.
Second, the car must use a domestic component level (TKDN) of around 60 percent.
Then in terms of the amount of discount, the largest PPnBM incentive for 2,500cc vehicles is only 50 percent, or not as aggressive as the incentive for small cars which can impose up to 0 percent.
Based on the 60 percent TKDN rule, the cars that have the opportunity to be included in the advanced PPnBM policy are the Toyota Innova and Fortuner.
For example, for the Innova type G, it is estimated that a discount will be given of around Rp. 21 million from the current selling price of Rp. 342 million to Rp. 321.
Meanwhile, the highest type of Innova Venturer is believed to be reduced by Rp. 32 million from Rp. 500 million to Rp. 468 million.
Meanwhile, the lowest G-type Toyota Fortuner will receive a discount of around Rp.33 million from Rp.512 million to Rp.479 million.
Furthermore, the highest type VRZ which is the highest class will get a discount of Rp. 40 million from the previous price of Rp. 711 million to Rp. 671 million.
In fact, this PPnBM relaxation can be followed by two other manufacturers, namely Mitsubishi through Pajero products, and Honda through HRV and CRV.
However, the two automotive manufacturers seem to have to bite their fingers because they are hampered by the TKDN limits that must be met in each unit produced.
