Becoming Victim Of Sexual Abuse Her Grandfather, Sharon Stone Tells Her Childhood Story

JAKARTA - Sharon Stone admits that she is relieved by the death of her maternal grandfather. Because that means her childhood sexual abuse nightmare is over.

Sharon reveals her traumatic past in her new memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice.

She claims she and her sister Kelly were subjected to sexual abuse by their grandfather, Clarence Lawson, for years.

In the book, Sharon explains Lawson also abused his wife, but that she reportedly helped Lawson lock Sharon and Kelly in a room.

It happened when both were toddlers, every time they visited Lawson and his wife's home in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

Lawson died of a heart attack when Sharon was 14 years old. At that moment, Sharon and Kelly breathed a sigh of relief.

Sharon recalls how she opened her grandfather's coffin at the funeral to make sure he really died.

"I poked him (in the coffin), and the strange satisfaction that he finally died hit me like a ton of ice", Sharon wrote quoted from film-news.co.uk.

"I saw (Kelly) and she understood; she was 11, and it was over", she added.
