JAKARTA - The Toyota Corolla Hybrid 2025 has been released first for the United States (US) market. According to manufacturers, this sedan has a high level of fuel efficiency thanks to the latest generation of Toyota Hybrid System (THS) technology.
For the US market, this compact sedan-style car is offered in five different trims, namely LE, LE AWD, SE, SE AWD, and XLE and the price starts from 23,625 US dollars (Rp356.6 million) to 27,465 US dollars (Rp414.6 million).
Launching from the Toyota USA page, Friday, September 20, the car design is not much different from before. This Japanese brand still maintains the front facilities of Corolla with a formal appearance.
The sedan also comes with a sporty look on the SE variant, featuring a glossy black net patterned bottom culling and a sporty diffuser on the back.
The SE variant gets 18-inch rims of graphite color and LE which gets 16-inch steel rims. Meanwhile, the XLE type gets a silver finishing option. All trims have advanced LED headlights.
The Corolla Hybrid 2025 comes with an 8-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system accompanied by an increase in the 10.5-inch Multimedia Audio screen as a standard on the SE and XLE trims. The system can be connected via Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto connectivity.
For the XLE trim, Toyota installs a 7-inch digital gauge cluster. All other trims equipped with a 4.2-inch multi-information screen located between a tachyon and a speedometer can be selected both analogly and digitally.
The audio system covers 6-speakers. On the XSE trim, the sedan is available with a JBL Premium Audio sound system with a 9-speaker and an 800-watt amplifier.
The Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) 3.0 safety feature is also provided which includes several functions, such as Pre-Collition System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Protective Driving Assist, Road Sign Assist, and many more.
Under the hood of this car, a 1.8 liter 4-cylinder DOHC engine is paired with a THS system that is known for fuel efficiency. In collaboration with CVT transmission, this car has a power of 138 dk and a torque of 142 Nm.
Toyota claims the car can consume up to 22.5 km/l of fuel for in-city use and 19.5 km/l for highways.
