Japan Asks Students In China To Be Maximum Protected In The Aftermath Of Their 10-Year-Old Citizens Being Stabbed To Death
JAKARTA - The Japanese ambassador to Beijing urged China to provide extra protection for sunrise citizens who are studying in the bamboo curtain country.
Mnegutip Reuters, Friday, September 20, this request was conveyed by Ambassador Kenji Kanasugi who spoke with Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Sun Weidong by telephone.
Sun's response to requests for the aftermath of a 10-year-old Japanese student in China was stabbed to death this week. However, Kanasugi asked China to do its best to ensure the safety of Japanese nationals.
The boy died on Thursday, September 18 morning after being stabbed on his way to school at around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17 local time.
The perpetrator of the stabbing of this Japanese student was 44 years old with Rmarga Zhong.
It was the second knife-using attack near Japan's education center in China in recent months amid strained diplomatic relations between the two countries.
