Held Rapimnas, PKS Targets To Win The 2024 Pilkada At Least 60 Percent
JAKARTA - The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) targets a minimum victory of 60 percent in the 2024 simultaneous Pilkada contestation.
This was conveyed by PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu in his remarks at the National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) at the PKS DPP office, South Jakarta, Thursday, September 19.
"The simultaneous regional elections in 2024 are in sight, the implementation of voting on November 27, 2024. God willing, we have a minimum victory target of 60 percent in the 2024 Pilkada throughout Indonesia," said Syaikhu.
Syaikhu invites all his party cadres to be optimistic in winning the 2024 simultaneous regional elections. It is known, there are several PKS cadres who are running as candidates for deputy governors and mayors and regents.
"We must be optimistic and keep the spirit of welcoming victory in this regional election in the context of efforts to win the election in 2029," he said.
Syaikhu also hopes that regional heads and deputy regional heads who are promoted by PKS will be able to work optimally and serve the community well if they win the 2024 simultaneous regional elections.
"Hopefully they can work optimally, serve the community, defend and advocate the community so that in the end they will also be able to become the storefront of the Prosperous Justice Party, which in the end in 2029 hopefully the community can make their choice to the Prosperous Justice Party," said Syaikhu.
Syaikhu also ordered all PKS cadres to oversee the 2024 Pilkada so that there is no fraud in its implementation.
"Let's guard together so that there are no various frauds. So that the simultaneous regional elections in 2024 can run honestly, fairly, democratically, safely, peacefully and with dignity," he concluded.
