Hundreds Of Units Have Been Ordered, Neta Ensures Neta X Will Soon Be Launched In Indonesia

JAKARTA - PT Neta Auto Indonesia has various electric car lines ups in the country, starting from Neta V which is still imported intact from China, there are also Neta V-II and most recently there is the Neta X SUV.

The electric SUV was introduced at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show 2024 (GIIAS) at ICE BSD, last July, and has ordered hundreds of units.

"For the order for Neta X, I forgot the details later, but there are hundreds of units," said Product Planning Manager of PT NETA Auto Indonesia Jordy Angkawidjaja, when met in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 area, some time ago.

Indeed, during GIIAS 2024, this Chinese brand posted a total order of up to 327 Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK), but it was not explained in more detail what model was the best-selling. It's just that Managing Director of PT NETA Auto Indonesia Jerry Huang had revealed that the presence of Neta X could color the country's automotive industry market.

"The significant increase in the number of SPKs by more than 100 percent compared to last year's GIIAS, will certainly further spur our enthusiasm as an electric car distributor who not only presents environmentally friendly electric cars, but also answers the mobility needs of the community," he said last July.

Launch in the near future

After being introduced and inviting media crews including VOI to feel the sensation of driving Neta X on Jalan Jakarta, the SUV, which has a large cabin, will launch in the near future.

"Launching in the near future, we will launch in about a week or two more," added Jordy.

In terms of specifications, Neta X itself comes with a fairly large dimension, which is 4,619 mm x 1,860 mm x 1,628 mm and has a capacity of 5-SEATERs. This car design is also classified as modern, let alone embedded with various interesting features making it suitable for young families.

Neta X has been assembled locally or Completely Knocked Down (CKD). It even has a Domestic Content Level (TKDN) of 44 percent and as the local content time goes on, it will be increased.
