Submission Of BNBP Recommendations For Imported Goods For COVID-19 Countermeasures Can Be Online
JAKARTA - Submission of recommendations from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) regarding exceptions to the provisions of the import trade system and granting of fiscal facilities, can be made online through the Indonesia National Single Window (INSW) system.
Director General of Customs and Excise of the Ministry of Finance Heru Pambudi said the service was a synergy between the National Single Window Institution (LNSW), BNPB, Customs and Excise, Ministry of Health, and the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM). This is an effort to accelerate the response to the corona virus or COVID-19 in Indonesia.
Heru said applicants consisting of the central government, local governments, Public Service Bodies (BLU), foundations and non-profit organizations, as well as non-commercial individuals or private parties can submit applications for BNPB recommendations online starting March 30.
"The scope of commodities that will receive recommendations from BNPB are hand sanitizers, raw materials for hand sanitizers and products containing disinfectants, laboratory test kits and reagents, media transfer viruses, drugs and vitamins, medical equipment, and personal protective equipment," he said, through a written statement. received by VOI, in Jakarta, Monday, March 30.
To be able to submit an application online, applicants only need to access the official INSW website at http://insw.go.id. Then proceed by clicking the INSW application menu and selecting the Emergency Response Permit submenu.
Applicants can choose the BNPB Recommendation Submission menu. After that, said Heru, applicants can fill out the form and upload the required documents according to the type of applicant. After the application is submitted, BNPB will determine the recommendation submission that needs to be analyzed by the Ministry of Health and / or BPOM which can be directly handled by BNPB.
In addition, said Heru, BNPB can issue recommendations if the analysis process by the Ministry of Health and / or BPOM exceeds the one hour time limit. Applicants can also monitor the status of recommendation submissions through the BNPB recommendation submission tracking feature on the official INSW website.
"After the analysis process is complete, the system will issue approval or rejection of recommendation submissions," he said.
In addition, Heru emphasized, submitting recommendations for individual or private applicants in the context of permanent commercial activities through the Ministry of Health and / or BPOM.
