It Doesn't Matter If The RK-Suswono Timses Without Public Figures, Democrats: Our Strength Is 91 DPRD Members
JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Democratic Regional Leadership Council (DPD) Mujiyono emphasized that the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Plus was not worried that Ridwan Kamil-Suswono's winning team would not be filled by public figures or celebrities.
According to Mujiyono, even without public figures, RK and Suswono have great potential to win the Jakarta Pilkada.
This is because all members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD whose parties are members of KIM Plus will campaign for RK-Suswono during the campaign period.
"Members of the council 91 people are public figures, sir. It's also public. So, our strength," said Mujiyono at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Wednesday, September 18.
Mujiyono assessed that every member of the DKI DPRD has thousands of constituents from Jakarta residents who can be invited to choose RK-Suswono. Not to mention, the former candidates for the DKI DPRD who failed to qualify in the 2024 Legislative Election will also help win the RK-Suswono.
"Next is KIM plus's party structure. Everyone has a structure. Not a legislative candidate, not a member of the Council, but he is a party cadre," explained Mujiyono.
"Then the last one, volunteers. RK volunteers are everywhere," he continued.
Moreover, this member of the Democratic Faction of the DKI Jakarta DPRD assessed that the influence of public figures in the timses structure was no more important than the readiness to manage winning strategies.
"In my opinion, what is important is good management. Winning is good management, not the person," said Mujiyono.

Previously, Ridwan Kamil admitted that his party was still finalizing the structure of the timses. Thus, the announcement of the names of the members of the winning team has not been announced until now.
So far, the name that has been revealed to fill the timses structure is the former chairman of the DKI Jakarta Gerindra Party DPD Ahmad Riza Patria who was appointed head of the RK-Suswono campaign team.
