Presiden Brajamusti Imbau Supporter PSIM Tak Away Ke Slawi, Bukan Soal Aturan LIB, Ini Alasannya
YOGYAKARTA President of Brajamusti, Muslich Burhanuddin 'Thole', appealed to PSIM supporters not to accompany the team to Slawi in the match against Bhayangkara Presisi FC, Thursday 19 September. Not because of the ban from PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB), but more on reasons for Javanese culture which is the main consideration.
According to Thole, this decision was taken into account the internal situation of the PSIM itself. "As Javanese, if we visit another team home, we must be ready to be good hosts. Currently, at Mandala Krida, we can only accommodate 10 thousand spectators, it is full, like against Adhyaksa yesterday," said Thole on Wednesday, September 18.
He emphasized that limited stadium capacity is the main reason. In the test match against Deltras, the PSIM committee was only able to provide a quota of 25 people in the northern side of the VIP stands due to limited stadium conditions.
"This is what worries us. We cannot repay the kindness of other team supporters who came to Mandala Krida, because there is not enough place. As Javanese, it would be inappropriate if we could not receive guests properly," added Thole.
Brajamusti also continues to coordinate with the police and the PSIM committee to increase the audience quota at Mandala Krida. Some of the factors that are considered are order before and after the match.
"We hope that supporters can be orderly when leaving or returning from the stadium. There are several negative reports on the road, and we want this not to happen again so that we can get permission to increase the audience quota," he continued.
As a form of support, Thole suggested that PSIM supporters hold a viewing together in their respective areas. DPP Brajamusti will help coordinate with the police to ensure the event runs smoothly.
"We can continue to support PSIM by watching together in their respective areas. We don't have to go away to Slawi. The important thing is, prayers and support continue to flow," said Toler.
Thole also gave his appreciation to PSIM for successfully solving a difficult tradition to win in the inaugural league match. He hopes that this positive trend can continue when facing Bhayangkara.
"Coaches and players performed outstanding in the first match. Hopefully they can bring home points from Bhayangkara. We will continue to support and pray for Jogja," he concluded.
