South Lampung Kejari Set 3 Corruption Suspects Incentive Satpol PP
LAMPUNG - The South Lampung District Attorney's Office (Kejari) has named three suspects in the alleged corruption case incentives for the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP).
South Lampung Kejari Chief Afni Carolina said the three suspects, the initials AL, IM, and M, were suspects in the alleged mega corruption case of incentives worth more than Rp. 2.8 billion.
"That is the initials M, IM, and AL. The determination of the suspect is carried out based on valid evidence as stipulated in the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP)," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 18.
The determination of the suspect is a follow-up to the results of the South Lampung Prosecutor's Investigation Team regarding the alleged corruption case of the incentive/ honorarium budget for members of the Satpol PP for the 2021-2022 budget year as many as three people.
"As a result of the actions of the suspects, it resulted in state financial losses of Rp2,824,911,140," he said.
He explained that the determination was the result of a follow-up to the Lampung Province BPKP report which had conducted an audit of the calculation of state financial losses on suspicion of corruption in the storage of incentives/ honorarium for the 2021-2022 fiscal year, numbered: PE.03.03/SR/S-1204/PW08/5/2024, dated September 9, 2024.
The actions of the suspects violated Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 paragraph (1) letter b of Law number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law number 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to Law number 31 of 1999 concerning the eradication of criminal acts of corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
