Daniele De Rossi Red Carded, Genoa Thwarted AS Roma's Victory In The Last Minute

Roma's three points wait is not over yet. After failing in the first three matches, including a shock 2-1 loss to Empoli at home, Roma still have not managed to win.
Previously, Daniele De Rossi's team managed to hold Juventus 0-0. The success of stealing points at home to Juve seemed to raise the morale of Paulo Dybala et al against Genoa. They even played well by winning first through striker Artem Dovbyk.
But Roma failed to maintain their lead. Roma's goal which Mile Svilar broke into Koni De Winter in injury time. The score was 1-1.
The failure to get the three points at home to the opponent made Roma only able to climb several strips in the standings. They occupy 15th position with only three points. On the other hand, Genoa who pocketed the fifth point rose to ninth.
In that match, Roma actually started well. They played offensively which forced Genoa to defend more. Roma even had the chance to get a penalty when Dybala was dropped in the box by De Winter. But the referee allowed the incident.
Roma finally managed to break into the opponent's goal when Dovbyk scored in the 37th minute. However, referee Antonio Giua had time to review the goal through VAR. Because the assistant referee raised the flag because he judged defender Gianluca Mancini to be in an offside position before the goal was created.
From the VAR review, there were no violations from Mancini, the referee also approved the goal. The score 1-0 for Roma lasted until halftime. The reason is there is no additional goal.
Entering the second half, Genoa tried to get up. They were able to keep up with Roma's open game. However, the hosts had difficulty breaking into the opponent's goal.
As Roma tried to maintain their lead, the match got hotter. Coach De Rossi finally got a second yellow card which was followed by a red card in the 90+5 minute.
Shortly thereafter, Genoa managed to penetrate the Roma defense and De Winter broke into the opponent's goal in the 90+6 minute. His header which met Vitinha's cross changed the score to 1-1. Shortly thereafter the final whistle sounded.
