Bali Police Find Evidence Of Death Violence Of Former Jembrana Regent
DENPASAR - Bali Regional Police found evidence of violence in the case of the death of former Jembrana Regent Ida Bagus Ardana (84) and his wife Sri Wulan Trisna (64) who were found at her home in South Denpasar, Thursday (8/8).
The Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Jansen Avitus Panjaitan, said that Bagus Ardana's body was found with several bruises and broken bones.
"This is because of the alleged unnatural death due to blunt violence in the right chest which caused fractures, third fractures, fourth and fifth sides of the right side, resulting in bruises on the middle and lower part of the right lungs," Jansen said, Friday, September 13.
He said that Ardana's body was found with abrasions in the form of abrasions due to pressure, bruises and fractures due to blunt object violence.
Then, during the toxicology examination, caffeine and caseine were found in the stomach. However, these two substances are certainly not the cause of death of the victim.
Then, during anatomical pathology examination, traces ofteger heart disease that narrows blood vessels between 10 and 95 percent.
In addition, the autopsy results of his wife Sri Wulan Trisna's body which was found in a rotting state at the TKP also contained evidence of physical violence.
"We found bruises and abrasions due to blunt violence on the nose and lips," he said.
The former Denpasar Police Chief explained that based on the pattern of the wound, it was in accordance with the bruises on the confinement incident. In this incident, it should be suspected that there was a confinement incident, resulting in a weak death.
Jansen said that based on the results of the Labfor, Forensic Medicine and toxicology, no other reason was found.
"So it was concluded that the body of a woman suspected of causing death was due to the weakness of the violence of blunt objects on the chest that caused death," he said.
According to him, until now the Denpasar Police and the Bali Police are still investigating the death of the husband and wife who were concluded to have died unnaturally.
The discovery of the couple's body was revealed starting from reports from residents and Ida Bagus Ardana's son-in-law to the Head of the Environment Karya Darma Putu Gede Igar Bramandika, Thursday (8/8) at 18.35 WITA in Setan, South Denpasar.
However, when the witness arrived home, the door of the house was locked from the inside.
The two tried to open the door, but couldn't. Finally they contacted the head of the local neighborhood to help open the door.
"The son-in-law and Kaling entered the terrace of the house but smelled a pungent smell, because they suspected that Kaling finally contacted the Police/Babinkamtibmas, Babinsa, Pecalang and medical officers to jointly check into the house by breaking down the door," said Jansen.
After successfully entering, the two victims were found dead in a separate house.
The late Ida Bagus Ardana was found lying near the kitchen door while his wife was found dead lying on the bed and the two bodies had already emitted an unpleasant odor.
Ida Bagus Ardana was the former Regent of Jembrana for two terms. He has served since 1980-1985 and 1985-1990.
