Leading The Last Cabinet Session, Jokowi Apologizes To The Ministers

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) chaired the plenary cabinet session at the Garuda Palace, the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan (Kaltim), today. The cabinet meeting was the last in the era of President Jokowi's leadership.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is the last cabinet meeting from the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet," Jokowi said at the opening of the plenary cabinet session, quoted from the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube, Friday, September 13.

On this occasion, Jokowi apologized to the ministers and heads of institutions if during the last 10 years his leadership had been lacking in interaction.

"I also want to apologize to all of you if in these 10 years there are things that are deemed unfavorable in interacting and there are things that are not optimal once again, I apologize profusely," he said.

Not to forget, Jokowi also expressed his gratitude to the cabinet members, both ministers and heads of institutions who were present at this plenary cabinet session. Especially for his dedication and hard work while running the government.

"I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the hard work of dedication from you, all mothers in running the government, in carrying out the programs and visions of the president and vice president in facing the challenges that exist," said Jokowi.

Jokowi said that during his tenure, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin and all ministers in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet will end on October 20.

"And the current government will be continued by the new government of the next government led by Mr. General Purnawirawan Prabowo Subianto," he said.
