Nike Sues Satan Shoes Collaboration Between MSCHF And Lil Nas X

JAKARTA - The sports fashion brand Nike issuing the MSCHF company which recently launched its collaboration with rapper Lil Nas X on Monday, March 29 in New York.

The collaboration, called Satan Shoes, uses Nike Air Max 97s shoes which were redesigned without Nike's approval. According to the New York Times, the MSCHF label also uses the real blood of six MSCHF employees mixed with ink to be placed on the sole.

Nike asked the court to stop MSCHF from selling the shoes for violating intellectual property.

Satan Shoes is a collaboration between MSCHF and Lil Nas X in the context of the release of the MONTERO song (Call Me By Your Name). The shoes have links to the MONTERO music video, which is a demon in which Lil Nas X dances in front of a demon.

These black shoes have a hint of red on the soles and there is the Bible verse of Luke 10:18 on the shoes. In great demand, this shoe sold 666 pairs in one minute.

Lil Nas X is not on the list of defendants, but he did share several memes on social media following the Nike report. "I'm after the Nike lawsuit" with a video of the character Squidward from SpongeBob Squarepants asking for money halfway through.
