BANGLI - Two workers with the initials EF and LP were arrested by police in Kintamani, Bangli, Bali for stealing a pig belonging to their boss.
"The motive is due to economic pressure", said Head of Public Relations of the Bangli Police, Iptu Wayan Sudiarsa, Tuesday, March 30.
The theft in a pig pen owned by his boss took place in Abuan Village, Kintamani District, on Saturday, March 27 evening.
At that time, the perpetrator was still in the pigpen belonging to I Nyoman Sucitra until late at night. At that time, the perpetrator should have returned to the boss's residence.
Because he was suspicious, the victim saw the perpetrator take 3 piglets that were put in plastic sacks.
The stolen pig was brought on a motorbike. The victim immediately screamed and chased the perpetrator along with the residents.
"Due to this incident, the reporter suffered a loss of approximately IDR 3 million and was reported to the Kintamani Police for further handling", added Iptu Sudiarsa.
Meanwhile, the evidence that was secured was 3 white piglets, 1 white plastic sack, including the perpetrator's motorbike.
"The method is that the perpetrator takes the pigs from the pen where they work", said Iptu Sudiarsa.
